Many people have commented on the pleasant texture over the entire pen. One told me it felt like leather, and others have just smiled as they held the pen. As with all of my pens, the Celtic has a Cerakote ceramic clear coat, providing a nearly impregnable protective coating over the entire pen. I have carried my first pen, the Moonwalk, with this coating for over two years with zero signs of wear.
