In sharp contrast to the eastern tradition, the European concept of the dragon is that of an intense, powerful, and strong creature to be feared. When combined with the rose, the symbolism expands into extreme passion or love.
The Artcraft Celtic Dragon pen incorporates that image on its cap, using artwork by Kevin Dyer of Marietta, Georgia. The barrel remains plain to prevent the overall design from becoming too busy.

As with all of my pens, the Celtic Dragon has a Cerakote ceramic clear coat, providing a nearly impregnable protective coating over the entire pen. I have carried my first pen, the Moonwalk, with this coating for over two years with zero signs of wear.
The Celtic Dragon pen is available as a fountain pen or rollerball. The fountain pen is fitted with a smooth-writing JoWo #6 nib in a choice of widths, including XF, F, M, and B, while the rollerball pen is fitted with a Schmidt ceramic rollerball refill.
When ordering, please indicated your choice of nib width in the Comments box.

The Celtic Dragon fountain pen is priced at $149 plus actual mailing cost.
The Celtic Dragon rollerball pen is priced at $99 plus actual mailing cost.
